MetaStock Version 8 compatibility issues
We have restored Metastock Version 8 compatbility in the latest Metastock plugin bundled with the TradeSim setup file. Previously MetaStock Version 8 had compatibility issues with the Visual component library that we used in the plugin that came with earlier versions of TradeSim 6. This would manifest itself as MetaStock closing down when opening charts in MetaStock 8 whilst TradeSim was running and the TradeSim DLL plugin was loaded.
Other versions of Metastock did not have these issues, but people weren't willing to spend the money and upgrade to a bug free version of Metastock. We are happy to announce that the latest release of TradeSim Version 6 should work with MS version 8 and version 7.22.
