i SEE FREQUENT REFERENCE TO THIS BUT IT IS NOT IN THE METASTOCK MANUEL, NOR IS THERE A DEFINITION IN THE TRADESIM PDF MANUAL. PLEASE;: WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT MEAN AND HOW EXACTLY IS IT CALCULATED. THANK YOU

ARC is short for Average Range Constant. It is just a constant varying between 0.5 and 3 and is used as a multiplier in a volatility trailing stop formula. The lower its value the tighter the trailing stop is.
