dates stuck

I cannot get one particular exploration to explore the dates I tell it to. It won't go back past two and a half years.

I've loaded 10000 periods, and other explorations on the same group of stocks will go back 15 years no problem.

Just this one will not accept any date prior to 1/10/01.

I've done a lot of explorations (500 odd) from this date. Could the program somehow have "learnt" to get stuck in a rut?

I've tried all the usual fixes (restarts, reloads etc etc) but it will not work.

What am I missing?

Try creating a new exploration (not a copy) and then add the code.

I created a new exploration, gave it a different name and pasted in all the code.

Still it won't use the dates in the exploration.

Do I need to retype the whole thing manually?

I ran the same exploration on another group of stocks and it failed. I then spotted reference to a formula in the exploration which - to cut a long story short wasn't meant to be there, because it was only available from a certain date. User error again!
