TradeSim code?

Hi guys

Is there a way in TradeSim to refer directly to actual entry price and entry bar? In Metastock we always have to use workarounds, but I understand this can be directly done in Tradestation and some other languages. Some of the TradeSim code looks as though it must refer to such data (maybe in a dll?). I guess I'm hoping that there might be a way to do more coding directly in TS rather than going around the MS roundabouts.

If there isn't, maybe it could be a consideration for future versions?

There is good news and bad news.

The good news is that the code which is written in C, within the TradeSim.dll plugin does reference the entry bar data. :D

The bad news is that this is not accessible outside the plugin within the Metastock enviroment. :(

The good news for the future is that we are currently looking at expanding the language within the Metastock enviroment to overcome these annoying limitations. :wink:
