Backing up files

Hi Guys,

On the weekend I completed my fortnightly ritual of backing up all my files incase of system failure, and it hit me that I wasn't backing up any of my Metastock exploration or indicator formulas which I have plenty. Other than copying them into Note Book is there an easier way to back them up ?

You can easily back up all your MetaStock formulae this way:

MetaStock -> Tools -> Indicator Builder -> Organizer -> Export formula files -> Next -> highlight first file -> Shift+End (highlights all files) -> Next...

Save all files to a separate folder (i.e., not the Equis/MetaStock folder) or CD, for later import back into MetaStock if needed.
