exiting half position

I was wondering it is possible to exit only half your position at a certain profit target and then let the other half run on a trailer exit?

I don't see why you could not do something along the same lines providing that you have a common entry point followed by consecutive exit points. That is you take mutiple trades which start at the same point in time and you allocate the same position value to each trade using the Equal Dollars PS model. Then you would subsequently exit each trade when a certain profit target is met using the profit stop mechanism in the TradeSim/Metastock plugin.
