After downloading and installing the update I appear to have lost the Security Lists DLL from Metastock.

Hello Peter
There never was a security lists DLL as such just a FilterSecurity function within the TradeSim DLL which facilitated creating security lists.

David,
It is this DLL that seems to be missing.

Hello Peter
If after you have installed TradeSim and the installation program requires you to reboot your computer then the Metastock external formula library will not have been installed. In this case you will have to manually install the library yourself. To reinstall or update the library you will need to run the formula set-up program FOsetup.exe, which is installed in the TradeSim program directory. To run FOsetup.exe just run FOsetup.exe from the TradeSim program menu, ie. [Start -> Programs -> TradeSim Metastock Add-ons -> Metastock Formula Setup] Then follow the setup instructions.

When installing the TradeSim/Metastock formula library you need to make sure that Metastock is not running.
If you have installed the library successfully then when you are either in the Indicator Builder Editor or Explorer Editor clicking on the Functions button should reveal the Paste Functions dialog box with the TradeSim external dll and available functions listed.
