I use a wide trailing stop combined with a 2 - 3xATR initial stop...I would like to be able to move the initial stop up to breakeven (or a little better) after a trade has moved in my favour by ~2ATR or so. Is this possible with Tradesim? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

Adrian,

Try Richard Dale's advanced trailing stop

I have played with the advanced stop as suggested below and it looks good on the chart, but i can't figure out how to incorporate it into the explorer so that i can use it when generating my trade databases.

How do i input the trade entry date for each trade when using the function in the metastock explorer when i am searching a list of securities?
