Late night,

Should be "rename your existing tradesim.exe file....."

Did that, thankfully. Copied the downloaded file into the TradeSim directory, trying to run it gives the error "failed to start because MSFL70.DLL was not found. Reinstall"

:(

I am not able to execute the TradeSim.Exe of Version 3.1.0.

Error message - Unable to locate DLL

The dynamic link library MSFL70.DLL could not be found in the specified path C:|Program Files\TradeSim.........

It should be in the c:\wondows\system directory and V7 of Metastock needs it to operate as well. In any event I have now made it available for downloading from the download page as above.

Works for me ... on my machine (XP) there was already a MSFL72.DLL in the System32 folder but nothing like that in the System folder. Love the new features - especially the option for limiting any security to a single open trade and the trade charts are cool.

Using the Calendar to enter Start and Stop dates function in the Trade Database Manager doesn't seem to work though? It works using the right mouse menu but not the other way.

You've done one hell of a job with this program David. :D

Very slick, david.

You really need to mount a better marketing effort in the States--it took MetaStock customer service over a week of hunting around to find you for me, and am I glad they did!

Best wishes,
Rick Martin

Some of the difficulties I have had in marketing TradeSim in the states is:-

1. The reluctance of Equis to promote TradeSim as an official addon to Metastock.

2. People confusing TradeSim with another product with the same name but providing a different type of Monte Carlo analysis as well as being a totally different product that does not work with Metastock at all.

The so called 'free trade' agreement our illustrious Priminister and politicians keep going on about is a complete fallacy.
