Dropping records

The following actions seem to lose the first record in the trade summary:

1) Run a basket test using both long and short transactions.
2) Export trade summary to Excel.
3) Run basket test on same trade data base, but long only.
4) The first record in the previous long/short basket test is gone.
5) Export to excel--confirms that first record is gone--it's not in trade sumamry or export.

I assume you are talking about the Trade Log when refering to the trade summary.

Could you please email me your trade database so I can investigate this further.

I'll have to create a small one for this purpose--my normal runs have 50,000 - 200,000 records in them. I assume you mean the output from the MetaStock explorer.

I haven't tested all the permutations, but have noticed that the first stock on the list (alphabetically) is missing when I run a simulation a second time. I haven't treid running a third simlation to see if it drops yet another record, but that would be interesting so maybe I'll do that before I send you the data base.
