Looking at Prior Session Reports

Running the basic version using Windows XP Home for an operating system.

I'm a new user just getting used to manuvering in this application.

When I attempt to open prior reports by opening the Saved Session Window I don't get the reports. But I do appear to get the Trade Data base set up and ready to run using the setups used to create the original reports. Bye then running the Simulation again I can see the reports.

Is this as it is supposed to be? I have to recreate the reports each time I open the system tester if I want to look at old reports?

So it appears to me that in order to keep access to that Back Test Report Data, I have to keep the unchanged Trade Data Base on hand (which was used to create the reports), because reports must be created each time they are viewed? Or am I missing something?

Yes this is true. The reports and results are not saved but can be printed out or exported if you have the Professional or Enterprise Editions. Alternatively if you are only using the trial/Standard edition you can copy and paste from the report into Word or Wordpad etc.

It's not a major issue, just getting used to how the software works.
