View Full Version : Functions have been disabled !

Hi,

I've recently upgraded to the latest version of TradeSim.

Previously, when I started BullCharts, it would automatically start TradeSim.

When I click on Tools | Preferences and then click on the Host Application Settings tab, I see all 3 check boxes ticked.

However, when I start BullCharts without starting TradeSim first, I receive the following message:

TradeSim(DLL) functions have been disabled !

I'm running the Enterprise Edition
Version: 6.4.1
Build: 753
Status: Final Release Version

TradeSim(DLL) Plugin
Version: 8.3.0.235

Below that, I see both the Path for BullCharts and the Host App being BullCharts.exe

Now, the simple solution to this is to start TradeSim first and then BullCharts. However, it would be nice just to be able to start BullCharts as before and then have TradeSim start automatically.

Suggestions would be great

Thanks

Robert

I didn't think TradeSim started when BullCharts started. At least it doesn't do that when I run BullCharts. In fact I don't recall it ever doing that before.

To get TradeSim to run from BullCharts you have to run a Trade Database BullScan before TradeSim will start automatically.

I always recommend that you run TradeSim only before you need to use it.

Hi David,

Thanks for the response.

If what you say is true, then every time I run BullCharts, I get the error message popping up. The only way to get rid of the error message is to run TradeSim before I run BullCharts.

So, how do I get rid of the error message?

Thanks
