To download the setup file for TradeSim Standard, Pofessional and Enterprise editions you will need your user name and password that was emailed to you after purchasing online. The setup file includes the TradeSim executable and associated libraries as well as some trade database examples and an online user manual in Adobe PDF format. You will need the Adobe PDF reader to view or print the user manual.

To download any of the following files click on the relevant download link and save the file to a temporary folder on your hard drive. You only need to download the updates if you have an earlier version running already. The version that you are currently running can be found from the Help->About menu.

TradeSim Final Release Setup File

  • Includes User Manual and Quick Start Tutorial and the full library documenattion (requires Adobe PDF reader)
  • Includes Version 8.1.0.224 of the TradeSim.dll Metastock Plugin.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES regarding this release:

  • TradeSim is not compatible with Version 8 of Metastock. You need to either downgrade to Version 7 or upgrade to Vesrion 9 or 10 of Metastock.
  • TradeSim version 6 and above uses a new licensing scheme. Upon installation this software defaults to a trial mode of the Standard Edition. To activate the features that you have purchased you just need to follow the registration instructions from the software.
  • It is strongly recommended that you always rebuild your trade database files with the newer Metastock/TradeSim plugin before simulating them with TradeSim. Small changes to the trade database produced by later versions of the plugin can sometimes have dramatic effects on the simulation results.

If you wish to load all of the documentation on to your computer just download and run the setup package. If you are not a registered user then don't install the Metastock formula library if it asks you to install it.
